Response rates for reviews are low and getting lower because customers are simply being bombarded with surveys and review emails every day.
Feefo needs to apply the tactics that many other providers offer whereby the star rating in the email can be clicked on and the data is collected. This 'quick click' tactic is the minimum effort for customers - they don't even have to leave their email inbox if they don't want to and they have the option to leave verbatim if they want to.
To apply this all you need to do is store the 5 stars as separate images with individual links in the HTML. Easy-peasy.
In applying this I internally saw my response rate increase by 5% points
